Cullen Trust for Health Care

The Houston-Galveston Trauma Institute has received its third three-year grant to provide training and consultation to the mental health professionals working in the Harris County Hospital District’s public health clinics in collaboration with Baylor College of Medicine. The training includes monthly three-hour didactic lectures on traumatic stress theory and monthly one-and-one-half-hour case consultation. This is a broad-spectrum trauma training that prepares clinicians working with the most marginalized and often most traumatized persons in Harris County.

The Edith and Robert Zinn Foundation

The Edith and Robert Zinn Foundation has generously supported the Houston-Galveston Trauma Institute’s trauma training programs, including our recent expansion in providing structured case consultation to the skilled clinicians at Jewish Family Service.
